PXG - A Private Portal

The Opportunity

PXG had a number of challenges when it came to ordering and delivering field marketing materials to their outside Sales reps (also known as the Field Ops Team). Previous to working with BAP, the ordering process had a lengthy timeline that included multiple vendors, an email submission form, and a smartsheet tracking system that took multiple weeks for assets to be fulfilled. From the time a request was submitted to the time that a product was delivered on average took 21 days previously!   

The Challenge

There were a couple of challenges when BAP jumped into as the partnership was developed. There was frustration between the Sales team and the Marketing team due to the previous wait times for ordering and receiving. And in some cases, this led to missed events and in other situations it led to guys in the field creating their own assets, which were oftentimes off brand. This created brand confusion to their consumers and disappointed upper management. 

HOW IT WORKS: BAP Developed a Custom Portal Program that gives access to the PXG Field Marketing Team and Retail Team. This portal carries pre-developed custom assets that are ready to ship as an order is placed. This efficient model has enhanced the field marketing graphics and ensures speed to their teams on the ground and guarantee brand initiatives are met.

The Solution

To address these challenges BAP developed the PXG marketing portal from the ground up.  The private password protected web portal immediately simplified the ordering process and ensured all branding was correct. PXG identified key assets that were essential to the success of their sales team and BAP produced and inventoried these items by ordering in bulk based on demand and eliminating unnecessary items. By taking this approach it ensured all assets were approved by the marketing team and also resulted in cost savings. The portal allowed for easy online ordering for Field Sales reps and reduced turnaround times from 21 days to 1-2 days. 

The Outcome

As a result, Sales reps who previously used the outdated ordering process or created their own materials were now consistently using the portal. The shift led to improved branding across all markets and enhanced PXG’s overall brand presence. To this day the marketing portal is still helping PXG.
