This Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy was adopted by our founding partners and by all new employees as hiring continues.  This is referenced in our Code of Conduct which provides and ethical and legal framework for employees in how BAP conducts business.  This is how we relate to our customers, partners, employees, stakeholders, suppliers, and community.

This policy is and will be reviewed over time to make updates to reflect developments in our business and best practice.

Business Integrity

BAP employees are expected to conduct business to enhance the reputation of BAP by doing things the right way. All business should be conducted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the countries in which the business is located. We compete fairly in the markets in which we operate. Corrupt practices are unacceptable.

Environment

We value the natural environment, and we are firmly committed to sound environmental practices in our operations. We also expect our partners and vendors to equally comply with relevant environmental laws and regulations. We all need to leave the earth better than we found it and should be doing everything we can daily to reduce waste and minimize our impact on the earth.  We seek suppliers who are like minded and manage natural resources responsibly.

Community

We aim to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate and to be the responsible neighbor.

Human Rights

We support and uphold the principles contained to the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We will not tolerate child labor or any form of forced labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, or any form of human trafficking, in our own operations or those of our suppliers.

Suppliers

We are committed to being a responsible and valuable partner in the supply chain, continuing to build a sustainable business that serves its customers, employees and shareholders and the communities in which they live.
A strong and dynamic supplier base is essential to our long-term success.  We rely on expertise and skill of suppliers to meet our partners’ changing needs, and we work with suppliers that comply with all applicable laws, including all applicable labor, employment, human rights, wage & hour, environmental, and health and safety laws.
